Press Release 11.13.23 - Boundary Update
Spartans,
In recent months, the School District of Superior has been working to reconfigure elementary school
boundaries for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.
We want to take a moment to update you on the latest School Board meeting that took place earlier
tonight. We would like to thank all those who have reached out and been a part of this crucial
process. Your voices were heard and helped shape the many scenarios offered to the School Board.
Earlier tonight, it was voted to adopt Option 1- while adjusting the following area on the map:
● NL01 and NL02 are moved back to Northern Lights instead of Cooper
● FC01 and FC06 are moved back to Four Corners instead of Bryant
● A total of 341 number of students would be moved to a new school
This decision came from a years-long study into our school capacities and how to better utilize our
spaces. You can learn more about our process by visiting this website.
In the coming weeks, before winter break, we will share next steps with our Spartan community. For
those with elementary school students next year, we will confirm with all families which school your
child will be attending in the 2024-2025 school year as well as the transfer request process for those
interested in applying for next fall.
We understand this may be an uncertain time for you and your family. Please know that we are with
you every step of the way, and we know that the future is bright. If you have a positive mindset,
then it will help make the transition easier for your little one. Your strength and positivity reflect on all
our Spartans. We will do everything in our power to provide the best possible education experience
for your child.
Thank you for your time and your continued partnership. We are all Spartans. We can accomplish
great things together!
Sincerely,
Dr. Amy Starzecki
District Administrator
